Cooking Class The cooking club is
made up of men and women. Members meet every other month at a different
member's home. Traditional and original recipes are prepared, documented and shared
for the other members to enjoy. The classes started with a two- or three-item
sampler and have evolved into a full-course dinner (party) for anyone
interested in cooking and their spouses. Schedule cycle~
Photos of the respective
class can be viewed by clicking on the desired date/host. This opens a new
window that can be closed X when finished. A PDF reader The Gaztambides
hosted the October cooking class. They made many pintxoak and Marmitako. The pintxos
included Broiled Mussels with Parsley and Parmesan, Championes Rellenos,
Bocadillo Peperada, Albondigas en Salsa de Tomate, Bunuelos de Bacalao,
Basque Fries, Tortilla de Gamba, Spicy Chicken Wings and a Tomato and
Watermelon Salad. We had Pastel de Arroz con Leche al Ron de Pedro
Subijana, plus cheese for dessert. There were fewer people than normal but
the food wad good and we all had a great time!. See link below for
photos.
